Mark your calendars for Novembers Charlotte Auto Show running from Thursday the 16th through Sunday the 19th.
Hendrick Mini has been invited back and will be looking for volunteers to staff the display. Last year we had a club dinner at Brixx Pizza on the Saturday of the show which was fun. We'd like to do a similar thing this year.

I got together with Dana Fredrickson at Hendrick MINI (who is handling the logistics for the show) and she came up with a schedule for us based on the list of volunteers I had on the 10/19. We've been on vacation since then and got back late last night, hence, the late posting. If any of these assignments is a problem for anyone let me or Dana know ASAP. I wish I could help, but I might have football that weekend, but hopefuly I will get to go with my Mini, she should be showing up around then

 

Count me in I can work 16-19 when ever you need me. I did this last year and had a ball, beautiful cars, fair food and lots of wild and crazy people show up. If your a car buff or people watcher this is great!!

Can't get off work, but I can help out Sat or Sun? The wifey almost always has me booked for Sat night dinners, though...just let me know? Thanks!

 

Meeting Club members last year is why I have a MINI today. I am available anytime Sat 18th or Sun 19th.

 

I would be happy to help out again this year on either Saturday morning or afternoon. I had a great time last year and look forward to doing this again. If pressed, I could probably do Sunday morning if you need some help at that time but would prefer Saturday.

A club dinner could still be arranged. Whoever wants to hoof it over to Brixx from the Show site on Saturday let me know.

 

I am picking up my MINI on the 18th, maybe I will stop by and say hey

 

Since I have sold my MINI I would like to offer up my 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM Saturday time slot to someone else. This way another MINI owner could receive the goody bag from Hendrick.

George sorry to hear that you had to sell your Mini but I can understand with the new job and what type vehicle your need. Thinking about your car alot and even thought about buying it. I still have your $ from Chris if we ever get up.

Hey guys, had a great time, you'll be seeing some of the contents of the goody bag, b/c they're shirts I'll soon be wearing, and here's a funny. A young woman, after hearing my pitch said, "So basically, Dave, you're a Booth Babe, like my friend over at Lincoln!".

After relating the story, I heard they're also called Booth Bunnies!

Who knew a middle aged bald buy could be a Booth Babe Bunny? ;-)
