Painting/Changing Honeycomb things...

Is it possible to paint or replace the honeycomb part of the things on the front of the car just under the windshield wipers? I want to keep the outside of them black, but change the honeycomb part to white. Anyone done this, and if you have, how hard was it?

I cant imagine its any harder than simply taping off the outside and painting the inside white. Ive never seen it done...I'm not sure it would look too good.

I agree with bigpmj, I'm not sure about the color. Does anyone have a pic of their Mini with the color that Jeremy's wanting so we can tell?

OOOhhh! I just thought of a possible reason why you shouldn't paint them white...they'll show dirt all the time. Black at least hides the dirt better. (just my thoughts)
