I was trying to rub some specks off my hood stripe with a microfiber towel. My fingernails made scratch marks on the stripe right through the towel.
Is there any way to fix this short of getting re-striped? (Which I just did only a month ago after some lowlife POS decided it would be fun to peel off one of my stripes )

 

Short of using a marker to fill it in, I don't think so. I have a few nicks that I covers lightly with a Sharpe and it looks pretty good.

 

Someone PEELED off one of your Stripes?!? That is horable! You have white or Black stripes? I am guessing they are black. OEM or someone else make them?

 

Yes, they were black OEM stripes, and I had to have both of them replaced by the dealer, (as they only come in sets) to the tune of $130.00.
And yes, some scumbag peeled one off, apparently for the fun of it. I don't even know where it happened, as I had been to several different places that day, and I don't know how long it was gone before I noticed it. I mean, who comes back to their car and checks to make sure their stripes are still there?????? impatientimpatient
