I just recieved my NUVI 660 today and will post an update when I get to play with it a bit.

Will be putting it to the test on my upcoming trip...~6500 miles across this great country. (And no, I am not the last MINI from MTTS, still trying to get home!)

BTW:
I think the little blue car (instead an arrow on the NUVI) looks like my MINI. The larger screen is great for us with age shifting eye *****. LOL

 

Do you mean the Nuvi 360 (not 660, as posted)?

I am interested - especially how effective the Bluetooth hand-free is and if you experience any issues with the Nuvi.

I have the new Garmin C550 and I'm on my third one in a month. First one, Bluetooth receive audio was very low, second one had a display that would be blank - about half the time, third one - Bluetooth connection to phone drops off and I have to re-pair often. So far, I'm not impressed with the C550.

 

No, the 660 is the newest model with a bigger screen, traffic alert, Blutooth, etc. Let us know, this is the one I am looking at.

 

Yeah, it is the newest one, funny they sent it out to me to arrive Friday, I opened the odd shaped box, to find GPS Mapping photos. WHAT the Heck...Seems My NUVI 660 went to Melanie and her maps went to Melina. LOL.

but the company sent me a new one and it arrived bright early yesterday.

Had to Laugh though, My GPS went to the wrong location. LOL

Well I hope it does work well, the company I oerdered it offered it just a bit over the cost of the 360 at Sams.

I will put it through the tests!

 

I just received my Nuvi 660 today and it ROCKS!! I was using a tomtom 910 for four months now and I thought everyone that was complaining about it just didn't know how to use it. And although there are some cool features on the 910, that the Nuvi doesn't have the Tom-Tom pails in comparison in just about every category. From the brightness of the screen to the ridiculous weight, crappy battery life. My god the list goes on and on. The new larger size screen alone makes the gamin look years ahead of the tomtom. If anyone is interested in hearing my side by side comparisons I will post it otherwise, take if from a person who knows and the tomtom very well.... Don't Buy it. go out and BUY THE new GARMIN NUVI 660. Hands down the best unit to date.
