Dunlop SP Sport Max

Hi all,
I'm looking for a slightly longer wearing alternative to the stock 17 inch runflats on an '03s. I saw the Dunlop SP Sport Max's on Tire rack for about $140 each. Does anyone have any experience with these? Tread life? Traction in wet? Thanks!

I got them a little while ago and I really like the traction(DRY) not too much rain where I live. It has one of the highest review comparing to all the performance tires. It also depends what wheel/tire size combo. I'm running 245/35/18 on 18x9 3piece racing wheels Loving it

Thanks for the review! Unfortunately I live where it rains a lot (Seattle) so I'd like to find out about that as well.

I run these in 215/45/17 on 17 x 7.5" aftermarket wheels and they work fine. They're smoother than the runflats, very stable & quiet at high speed, but I don't find traction to be so great over the stock runflats but I haven't played with the pressure much. I've had them for close to 4K and even with my lowered car and camber settings the threadlife looks fine so far. No experience in the rain, it's been a very dry summer here in Oklahoma...

This is a very good example comparing the performance Cool is running 215/45/17 IMHO the side wall is too tall for any high performance driving, I'm running 245/35/18 with fr/rr camber adjusted and the performance is .

It really depends on the setup for the wheel/tire
