Anyone know where to rent a MINI in Las Vegas???? I heard a rumor you could.

You can rent a MINI in Las Vagas at Rent-A-Vette. They have both "Mini Cooper S Cabriolet" and "Mini Cooper S MC40 Sport Sedan". Check under Fun Convertibles & Sporty Roadsters on their web site:

I rented a MINI Cooper S from then when the MINI was first introduced to the U.S.

I would recommend making a reservation, but you can always rent on short notice if the car is available.

From what I remember, the actual rental procdure takes a bit of time. Make sure that you have your insurance card with you. Would you believe that they actually fingerprinted me and my buddy that would also be driving?!?!?!?!?! My wife and his girlfriend, who were just going to be passengers didn't have to be fingerprinted.

Anyhow, they are located near the airport, and they can pick you up from your hotel.

Yes, I drive by Rent-a-vette everyday on the way to work. They have a blue convertible, and a red MC40. They used to have a yellow S I rented when my wife and I were first thinking about buying a MINI. There was talk of other "normal" rental places having Coopers, but I haven't seen any on the lots I drive past.

If you are going to be in town next week, we are going to have a "Motor in" at the Orleans Casino on Thursday night. We will eat at the buffet, and go bowling afterwards. There is a group that was organized on MINI2 that is going to be in town, including people from the UK. They are calling it their "California Dreaming" run. We'd love to have you stop by.
