Grassroots Garage Pulley Party - 10/14

Dan would like to invite anyone and everyone to a pulley party on October 14th. Please ask your questions here.

He would like to have a list of parts that he needs to order, how many pulleys, intakes, etc.

Also, he will offer a further discount on CravenSpeed items, the prices are not finalized, but will be a substantial savings.

Would love to come but there are two car shows, Asheville and Hendersonville NC that weekend. Maybe some of our guys who are not showing would like to attend. I can vouch for ZIP and his work and prices.

I can attest that Dan is the "Man" He did my pulley about 6 months ago and he knows his way around a mini for sure. I would reccommend him to everyone.
Dan,
More mods are to come for me, but I am in the process of buying my first house so I have to take it easy for a bit.

This is going to turn into an interesting day,
I've got a few race cars that will most likely be here on display, and a MINI owner who has a motorcycle stunt team will be here as well showing off in the parking lot. You all should come out for that if nothing else.

we will be starting at 9:00, Nascar MINI will be the first on the lift. Take your time getting here, MINIME, I don't think there is too much lined up

--Dan

So far we've got:
NascarMINI: has his own pulley - Helix s/s - trans fluid change
MiniMe85: Craven 15% - Borla race (if it arrives in time)
JReaney: Craven 15%

I have one more Craven 15% available in stock, any takers?

Dan, like I said, I'm broke, however, the wifey is into design, and agreed with me the vent behind the steering wheel by the speedo is bad design, and filling it with that gauge holder you had and a boost gauge would be good design!

Shoot me with a PM, please for what that would run me, installed, and maybe you'll have another mod Saturday, and I'll skip the British car show to come your way?

More details please

What is this event. Is it a gathering where we all install pulleys and additional mods. If so is there enough time to do several pulleys? I am very interested and would like to take part.

Is there something in particular you would like to have done, or have help with? I think there will be time for some more stuff. The list of things I am doing is above in this thread

Is there a fee for installing the pulley? That's all that I would be interested in doing at this point.

It's going to be a blast. Everyone should seriously consider coming out and watching it, hanging out, whatever. I think it would be nice to see more Mini Tuners/enthusiast come out and have a good time.

The wifey will definitely notice if I do the pulley, not the torque, the $$ ;-)

I'll have to wait for the gauge to come in before I can do anything--I'm figuring the Helix CAI didn't come in, or we'd be doing that to MINICHI?

I may hit Chimney Rock in the a.m. and your shop in the p.m., or skip Chimney Rock, not sure yet, depends upon how late Fri night lasts for this old man...

SUHWEET! Finally a mod that's not purely cosmetic! Please put me on the mod roster for Saturday, I'll skip Chimney Rock and head to your shop so you can do it "whenever" between/after the pulleys.

Thanks for the pics Dave, and thanks to all of you who came out. I had a blast. It's a shame about the motorcycle guy though, I'll bet his mother never warned him about poking is eye out with THAT
