A question to members who have JCW STB on their car. Are there any difference between the old bolts and those that came with the bar? I wonder why the kit comes with 6 new bolts. Are they shorter to accomodate the thickness of the brace and washer?

the jcw strut brace includes 6 new NUTS- the brace fits over the existing "studs"that protrude up from the top mounting "hat" of the strut assembly. the new nuts have a special sleeve that "fills" the hole down through the strut brace end plate making full contact with the metal of the top strut tower as well as full contact in each hole. when you have them in your hand, this will make much more sense.
