So where do you find the exact date? Mine states 03-06 on th drivers door but no day.

I think that if you can Ask-MINI and tell them the last 6 characters of your VIN then one of the representatives could help you out with that.

january 1 2004, i find that really cool, b/c its an 04 built on teh first day of 04 (i mean i know 04's started production in late 03, but technically thats not an 04, you know?)
