I'm up here in SE Wisc. and I'm looking for a performance shop that other's would trust their MINI to.

I have a wishlist, that includes, head, cam, TB, header, lightened flywheel, LSD , DFIC, the M62 and possibly and more.

Where do Chicagoland MINI enthusistis take their cars for performance work.

might be closer to where you're at.

 

I think those are pretty much the three I've heard of. In terms of real involvement in the Mini community and complete enthusiasm, though, I think Way Motor Works is really worth checking out.

I got my pulley done there and the staff is great. Ended up talking for a while when I went to pick up my car.

 

Hey does anybody know anything about TAG Sport in Geneva, IL down by Dupage Co. Airport on Rt. 38? I know they are a BMW motorcycle dealer but they say they do MINI service too.

 

^ why not just go down to www.euroquipe.com ? they're only like 20-25min
from Geneva just by Charlestown Mall.

 

I went down to TAG one guy works on BMW cars and MINIs and had one of each in his bay of what is actually the BMW motorcycle service area. Lots of nice bikes, not alot else though.
