2 Questions - M7 Springs and Tire Size

Is anyone running M7 springs with R90's with 215/45/17 tires (- That tire size can fit the R90 right?) ?

Any rub?

Thanks in advance.

I'm running R98 Webspokes, two piece wheel like the R90, same offset, same width, with 215/45/17 tires and M7 springs. No rubbing. I also don't load my car up either. I also have wheel spacers on that I made, doesn't rub on the lip either.

What is the offset of the R90/R98 wheels? When my runflats are toast I'll be looking at a lighter 17" wheel and wider tires - prolly 215/45s.

The factory 17s are not very light.

I'll be going aftermarket for the wheels, but the question was intended to help me figure out what offset would work for the wider tires. Thanks for the reference link!

Find a wheel that is light - relatively - one that offers a bit more back space - wider to the inside while also have a better offset for handling. something in the 7.5" width range and a 38-40mm offset - 38 is better.

Thanks Meb. I've been really happy with Rotas for my AX wheels and have also been looking at some of the Fliks, and the TD Pro Race 1.2 and 2's. I still have a few miles left on the RFs before I need to decide. Other considerations include fitting over a Wilwood 16" kit and eventual replacement of the M7 springs with custom Leda coilovers. Lots of homework to do....

guess I picked me some good wheels but this will cause rubbing if used with M7 springs and 215/45 tires - I had to do some serious dremeling for the rear wheels to stop rubbing on even the smallest dip/bump...
