M7 Front Strut Brace & JCW Air Intake

Looking for some info if the M7 front strut brace will clear the the JCW Air Intake. This is on a cabrio, although I don't think that would make any difference.

Thanks,

Dave

I have a JCW and tried the M7 Strut Bar. Although it cleared the airbox the hood insulation would have required modification. I was not comfortable with doing that so I went with a different bar.

just spray a little water on the insulation and let it set in with the strut bar. at leats that is what i did. no worries here, the bar just looks very well made for me.

Agreed. I looked at the others and I wanted a bar that combined strut tower cap reinforcement with the bar and M7 does. The JCW for example did not and was $100 more.

The M7 bar clears the JCW as well as the stock airbox nicely.

We tried this and the hood still popped out about an inch or so at the back
