Did you know that Madonna, Goldie Hawn and Sting own minis? I thought it was fun that Sting owns a mini because I'm playing one of his CDs in my mini right now!! Just a bit of fun, "fluff" mini talk! Oh and I wonder what kind and color minis they drive?

Brian K. Vaughan owns one.
He's not a movie/music celebrity, he's sort of a comic book celebrity, with potential to become a movie celebrity. He owns a MCC not sure if it's an S or not. Very cool guy.

Anyone into comics, he writes "Y the Last Man", "Ex Machina" and "The Runaways" all very good books.

 

Penn Gillette owns 3 MINIs, and I know that at least one of them is what he calls "stripper pink!" LOL! I met him at the first AMVIV...very nice guy and he was very much into MINIs and happy to see us all there.

I don't know if she still has one, but Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy's wife, who shares my exact date of birth, including the year, had a Jet Black MCS, exactly like mine.

And of course, Ms. Britney Spears has a MINI Cabrio...which we all know after the paparazzi shot her zooming along with her baby installed improperly in the backseat of the MINI.

And I think Whoopi Goldberg has one, too!

 

I think improper installation voids warranty -- and boy am I glad I don't have that option

Whatshername -- the woman who won America's Top Model a couple years ago and who is on that silly show about her wedding/marriage to Christopher Knight (Peter Brady): she drives one. It's Hyper Blue, I think.

J/K....I was in the news paper once when I was about 5 years old, but just the local town paper....but that makes me a celebrity....right?!?!

 

Alan Jackson HAD one...I saw it for sale in Nashville (not at the MINI dealer) and it was a replica of the one I ended up buying. They wanted a little too much for it though IMO, but only had like 3K miles on it.

I saw Goldie Hawn driving a MINI in Santa Monica about a year ago.


Heather Locklear had one but she sold it to Mickey from SCMM.

 

I saw an orange MCSc sitting on the service lot at my dealer's which is owned by M. Night Shyamalan's (spelling?) wife .

 

locklear drives a stick! i'm at once surprised, and not at all surprised.

 

My guess is that most celebrities don't own a MINI very long. Just a passing fancy until the next one comes along.

 

for the most part i agree, but Dale jr. owned his for a relatively long time, i think his was like an 02 or 03 and he sold it in 06. plus, didnt he sell the car for charity, ro was the someone else or a different dale jr car

 

Neil Gaiman (Writer) has a convertible of some sort. I don't think it's black though.

 

i know SHAQ owns one. so does hulk hogan.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Jennifer Love Hewitt "incident" where she ran out of gas and had to have several paparazzi help her push her MINI to a gas station.

Most of the NASCAR boys have them. Bobby Labonte and myself have very similiar ones.

 

Trot Nixon (right fielder for the Red Sox) has owned one for a few years. I've seen him zipping away from Fenway in it several times. It's Chili Red, natch.

 

Peter Egan from Road & Track owned one, and I think it was bought by a fellow NAMer.
