Honda Wheels/Mini Wheels

Can I use honda wheels with the mini and mini wheels with the Honda. My son's 87 Accord has 4 x 100 lug s and what appears to be the same size hub opening. The offsets seem more or less the same. Since I have two sets of wheels and tires I wish to wear out, the narrower set might look good on his car. Since I have no spare it might be easier to get a rescue without having him have to go to my house and get a tire from the second set out of the shed and out of the bag. Anyone know if these will fit each other?

Try it and find out. The bolt pattern is the same, the only question is the hub. I swapped my Mini wheels on the Miata and they work just fine. Jack up each car and swap wheels and see how if they fit.

Well at long last I tried the 13 inch Honda wheel on the MINI. It didn't fit over either the front or back brakes. Meanwhile I gave my "spare set of wheels" on which I was going to mount winter tires to my son for his Honda. The wheels fit fine and look great.

My original question (I think . . . it has been a long time) was about my son being able to rescue me with his spare if I had a flat after giving up my runflat tires . . . the answer is yes and no: No with his Honda wheels. Yes if he is running the Mini wheels or carrying one as his spare.

The answer is: No with this stock Honda wheels. Yes if he is running the Mini wheels, carrying one as his spare, or running afermarket rims that are 15 inches or bigger.

added a little more to the answer to helps others with the question if they need it.

Honda wheels that are 4x100 bolt pattern and 13" or 14" will not fit due to MINI brake caliper size front and back.

But Honda 15" rims in the same bolt pattern and similar offset can fit.

The 2007 Honda Fit Sport comes with 15x6" rims +55mm offset
and optional HFP rims are 16x6.5" with +55mm offset
in 4x100 bolt pattern and 56.1mm hub bore.

2006 and later Honda Civic is 5 bolt pattern now.
