DICE iPod adapter with Parrot Evo bluetoooth kit?

Is anyone running both the DICE iPod adapter and the Parrot Evo bluetooth kit? Have you found any compatibility issues? Do the radio text features of the DICE work?

I have both the DICE iPod adaptor and the Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth kit in my 2006 MCS, both installed about 3 months ago. There are no compatibility issues and my H/K head unit displays title/artist/album name from the DICE. I know that this isn't the exact combo that you asked about as the CK3100 has its own small display unit for the phone functions. I think it works quite well and am glad that I have the separte screen.

I installed both myself. The DICE install was simple- no issues. The instructions for the Parrot were terrible, even after downloading additional info from their web site. You need a vehicle specific adaptor that plugs into the back of the head unit, and this was not mentioned on the Parrot web site or when I ordered the unit from a third party vendor. I posted a question on the "other" MINI forum and the need for the interface was pointed out to me. I ordered the interface from www.newministuff.com. Their service was good, but there were no instructions included with the interface. Anyway, I did get it all figured out. When first connected, my DICE wouln't play (even though song titles were displaying on the headunit). A quick email to newministuff and they told me that I needed to swap one wire from the original radio wiring harness to the new wiring harness, and that solved the problem. The overall installation was frustrating but oly moderately difficult. The hardest part was physically fitting the additional wiring harness behind the head unit. The whole procedure would have been much simpler with good instructions.

I hope this helps.

Just one thing I'm not understanding, RHM... this wiring harness wire swap Mike suggested for you... can you be more specific? Given that the DICE plugs into the read CD changer port, I don't understand why it is affecting the use of the DICE when the Parrot was enabled. Doesn't the head unit think the DICE is a CD changer?

I'm about to order the Interface Kit but I do use DICE also...
