What traffic light???

Howdy all,

Just wanted to send out a quick thumbs-up for a new product I picked up.
It's the Lightinsight lens that you apply to your windshield. This allows you to now see the traffic lights without straining and craning your neck!!

Check em out at :http://www.lightinsight.com

Happy motoring!!!

PS-- 30 miles til end of break-in!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippeeeeeee

Hey that looks like a cool item, but I have to ask, what about the sun? Seems like it would refract the sun into your eyes as well as traffic lights.

that is the ONLY draw back to this product. I've had one for 3 years and love it. OH, by the way it really does take as long as they say it does to get this (2-3 weeks), but it's well worth the wait.

Installed mine last week and it is great. I placed it as high as I could so it would be as far out of line of sight vision as possible. Just a little sticks down and that is still sufficient. It took me 2 weeks to recieve. Great for $15.50.

If you click on the "Our Product" link on the site linked above, it shows what it looks like on the windshield.

Those pics show it good. But, as I said, I placed mine where only about 1/3 of what is shown in the pics is visible. The view of the lights of course is distorted, but its good enough to see them change. Mission accomplished!

Around here, the lights are pretty high up on a line, and if you don't pull right up to
the intersection, the light takes forever to change (if ever).

I've had mine for a few months and it helps a lot. As for the sun. I don't recall ever having a problem with it.

I've had mine for several years and it is one of the best mods anyone can get for a MINI.

Thanks. I guess if the sun became a problem, one could always flip the visor down.

I think I'm going to order one.

I am only very rarely bothered by the afternoon/morning sun shining through the lens. It is never as bright or irritating as the rising or setting sun is normally.
