Well I drove my MINI's 20,000th mile today. The 1,000th mile was hard because I felt like I was losing the "new", the 5,000th was a little hard, but now these milestones are happy days. I've had it 426 days, and thanks to a new job much closer to home, the next 20,000 will be mostly fun miles, not commute miles.

Man, I am about to roll over 1,500 miles! My car just seems old to me!

 

Eventually the miles just seem to go and go...

 

I am 230 miles from 50K and I am heading to Mid-Ohio today for the BMW Club Buckeye Chapter Driving School. Yes, I've had some glitches with the car, but not any more than others that I have owned. Most fun that $$$$ can buy.

 

I'm at 79,000 miles with my '02, which I bought new. Driving is just as much fun today as when my MCS was new...
