R50/53 GP availability
GP availability
My dad and I have been looking at GPs for awhile now, but couldn't justify the price increase most dealers had, but now the only GPs left now have rather large premiums. I have emailed most of the dealers from Kansas City to the east coast except for the northeast and south parts of Florida. You would be surprised how many didn't respond, usually just an auto response stating a MA will contact you (didn't happen) and some not even a response at all. So my question is, does anybody know of a dealer that still has a GP left for sale preferably without a mark-up north of 2,500k (little chance)? Or just a list of how many GPs are left in america. I heard awhile ago (maybe WRR or motoringfile) that only 10 GPs were left in america. Any help would be appreciated.
We didn't act fast enough on the first one, and didn't learn that lesson and then lost another one at a different dealer that could have worked.
By the way, it wouldn't be my car, atleast not for the first year or two
Maybe this thread should have gone in marketplace or new buyer services.

Actually that's after the Destination charge, but ya. Mini of the Hamptons had one listed on their site for the MSRP, no markup. Not sure if they mark them up on the lot or if it's pre-sold, but it may be worth contacting them. This was a few weeks ago...

Looks like you don't want it as bad as the others, since they're going fast (or already gone) and people are paying premiums. It's a little late to be hunting one now I would think.....just do like somebody said and wait for a used one to show up.
we have been hunting one for a while (4 months or so), but never pulled the trigger. could wait for a used one to show up, but my guess would be that it wouldn't save us that money (atleast not that much) because around here MINIs don't lose their value and put the GP "limited edition" on top of that. but that could be our only choice.
I you really want one call south bay mini and ask for amanda white. She may be able to help you and they dont charge over msrp.
