List with all available mini's?

Hi all,
I've been reading this forum for a while and now it is time for my 1st post.

I'm in the market for an '06 MCS JCW. The thing is I can't wait 6-10 weeks for delivery. This because of special tax laws when I take the mini to Europe next year.)

I called several dealerships and none have a MCS JCW in stock. They are not able or are not willing to check if other dealerships have one in stock.

So my question: Is there a possibility to find out if a dealer has a MCS JCW in stock without calling all of them?

thanks!

edit: typo's

You could try calling Classic @ 800.388.1098 or 440.266.6700. All you can do is ask for help in locatimg a JCW MCS.

Not now, tomorrow is fine too

the red one mentioned above has a "black out" package. Never heard of it.
apparently all the chrome is flat black (headlight trim, door handles, exhaust, etc).... not sure if it is aftermarket.

Regarding the red JCW....

They (Otto's) also have a Royal Grey JCW car with the blackout trim and black rims. Very unique.

I've seen and driven the red one in person. I don't recall it having blackout trim, but it did have all carbon fiber interior pieces and leather dash with red stitching. Basically, it had everything possible. And, it had ~1400 miles, so price is reduced.

You can search through most of the new car inventory on the dealers across the USA. For a list of the dealers, visit: MINIUSA.COM

Happy hunting!

Why not simply get a MCS and then add the Works kit on it as an option?

That way you could get the color and options you want in the MINI, and then add the Works kit.

Here's one at Patrick Mini.

What is your price range for a JCW?

I don't know if this has changed, but when we were looking for our MCS, we tried to use the Miniusa site, and NONE of the dealer listings were accurate. They either hadn't been updated recently or were just wrong. We looked in Philly at Ottos, Main Line and up here in Mass at New Country in Hartford and Peabody. New Country had the smallest selection by far, but the MA found our car on the boat enroute to NJ and had the car in about 10 days.

Not sure if I'd be liking a "blacked out" MINI either... I never thought I'd say this but the chrome, interior and exterior, really makes the MINI look gorgeous. Cars don't get much sharper than these little buggers. :-) Eeeee gads, I love my MINI!
