I have an 04 MCS with 35K on it and recently received an offer from a local dealer for $500 to $550 (I forget) to extend the warranty to 50K. Is it really worth it? If I had a major service done before 50K would it pay for itself?
Thoughts?

 

That would be to extend the service warranty for wear items like brakes and such. If you get your brakes replaced and a couple oil changes at dealer price, you'll probably break even.

Your regular warranty does go to 50k already.

 

Now I was told brakes are not usually covered since normal wear and tear isn't covered...or wearing the tread out on the tires.
