Suspension H-Sport Front & Rear 'Sport' Sway bars on MCS??
H-Sport Front & Rear 'Sport' Sway bars on MCS??
Hi guys,
I've read an awful lot of good posts on NAM about sway bars, but not much on FRONT/REAR bar combinations. Someone is giving me a new set of H-Sport's SPORT version front & rear bars, and I'd like your insight before putting them on.
In particular, what will the front/rear combo do for me, vs. having JUST the rear? Should I install the matched pair? (I may be able to give my installer the front and he will mount the rear for me in trade)
My vitals: 2006 MCS, SS+, aggressive street driver (but not insane). Don't want to worry about oversteer on long highway curves or exit ramps, and if possible would like to keep the same settings for New England winters. Prefer less understeer, but nothing extreme.
BAR SPECS:
Rate Increse Over Stock
Front: +16% & +27%
Rear: +54%, +88% & +128%
THANKS!

Thanks, I did come across that before but wanted more opinions.
So installing the front/rear combo will make the car 'flatter' (as well as neutral) in corners? Doesn't sound like a bad thing.. but I wonder if there are other compromises. Still trying to decide whether or not to do both or just the rear.

The sport rear bar is one of the weakest rear bars on the market and I would definitely NOT use it in combination with the upgraded front bar unless you were also swaping to a stiffer rear / soft front spring combo, like H-sports. Use just the rear or use the front in combination with a 22 mm rear.
