Nope. The US release is at Monterey in a couple of weeks.

 

A fair few people in Europe (chatting over on MINI2); key handover for the earliest USA GPs is 18th August during the Monterey event

I was at the body shop today to pick up my brother and sister-in-law's car. Some dumba$$ ran a stop sign and hit it while I was driving it

Anyways, I was making small talk with the owner and I asked him about painting the intercooler cover. He told me that a friend of his about to take delivery of a GP . Whoa, there's actually gonna be a GP in my area.

 

Actually cops everywhere have pics of the GeeP posted in briefing rooms across America. I'm sure they're waiting for thier first GeeP as well....

 

I saw one sitting in the parking lot of MINI of the Hanptons when i took my MCS out there to see a friend

 

I saw 3 of them on the Ventura freeway Sunday morning. Going towards Los Angeles.

 

Saw one in Vegas yesterday (Tuesday 22nd). Looks great on the road....can't stand the side skirts though. Great color...mirror caps stand out nicely too!
