We need to leave for the ride a bit earleir than expected due to the special events being held at the winery later in the evening. We need to be at the winery at no later than 3PM for a tour & tasting so we need to start the drive at 2PM. Get to the Dairy Queen a bit before 2PM for some chat time

p.s...We are meeting at the Dairy Queen in Cahaba Heights. If anybody wants me to email them the Drive Map w/turn-by-turn instructions PM me.

 

I want to do the ride, we can't make the winery though . I have been to Morgan Creek, they have some wonderful wines , and it is such a pretty place to visit.

Well bzn, when we turn right @ Vincent to go to the winery you can always U-Turn & enjoy the Hwy 25 twisties a 2nd time on your way back

Well I don't think I will make this one. It has been a long week and I need a free day.

Second reason for not making the run is the fact that today I was rear ended. My poor MINI has to go back to the body shop again. It was just in the shop back in December because of something stupid I did. So The bumper that was just put on my car is going to be repaired again. The back door may need to be replaced too but maybe thay can fix it.
Sorry but I had to tell my story.

Had a great time & I am glad so many Minis came. I counted 10. Now if we could just figure a way to make those other (dang slow) cars stay off Hwy 25 . Last time I tried driving it there was a charity bicycle ride going on w/around 70 bikes riding 3 deep UGH

I hope the maps I handed out were right I noticed I had a few for another ride mixed in so if I gave anybody a wrong one, oopsie

Now...let's get planning so we can try to get 1 or 2 more rides in before summer is gone

You guys are so much FUN! I had a blast except for onofiveo, golfman and myself getting behind 3 slow Sunday afternoon get in the MINI parade wanta be Mini drivers. No actually it was really great seeing everyone, and tasting and buying some really nice wine. Yucca sorry I couldn't go back 25 with you, it was a good thing to, when I pulled out on the driveway, the BOSS called and told me to meet her at Sams. So it all worked out. I had a great time with everyone today! Great to have such a good turnout for a fun drive (even if we were slowed down on 25)
