New Exhaust Installation...
Hey Fellow Motorers!
I just picked up a new OEM MINI cooper (non-s) sports exhaust from a fellow NAMer. On the oustide it's shapped exactly the same as the standard exhaust. I have three questions.
1. Is installing this a DIY project? I have jacks, car tools and a reasonable amount of mechanical ability (I've installed the s-gas cap conversion, can change wheels for season, oil & filter changes, and I'm confident I could do a rear swaybar install).
2. If it's not a DIY: Should I get it done at a standard muffler shop or goto the local BMW dealership (my closest MINI dealership is a 70 miles away).
3. How long would this take at a professional labor rate?
Thanks in advance!

if you can handle a rear sway this is most def a diy
the only thing to look out for it the bolts between the resonator and the cat can be a pain as they get VERY stiff apply WD40 liberalry, do you have a copy of the instructions?
it is a straight forward bolt-on 10 bolts in total i think
...unless this is a kind that requires cutting the oem one, but i dont think it is
