there I was pedaling my butt off climbing these mountains and listening to all the crotch rockets, Harley's, Harley wannabes, and Goldwings, go by and .......I'm now doing about 8-9 mph on a steep hill and behind me I hear a familiar sound...... it is a supercharger whine.... could it be?..... I think it is.... and finally..... yes..... a very pretty orange cabrio "S" "motors" by with two people in white baseball style caps enjoying their day...... it was beautiful..... perfect day.....perfect road.....perfect car.....lifted my spirits.... and.....where was I...... oh yes..... pedaling.....pedaling....I think I can...I think I can.......

 

I would have said "I thought I could" and went back to get my MINI!

I sometimes find myself turning the radio off when merging onto the highway just to hear that sweet supercharger whine as I run the MINI through the gears. And I'll second the two thumbs up
