Alignment Woes - Painted rims - Advise?
Ok so i took my car to get aligned on the front today after i lowered it on the coilovers. i am running the black painted (powerdercoated) TD wheels with the geforce tires, and i guess there is no room to hook up the wheel jig to set the alignment. the shop is worried about scraping the rims as they jam the rig onto the wheel.
well i guess my Q is, would i be ok putting on my stock 16" wheels, and getting it aligned, as i dont care if they scratch those up a little, then putting my 17s back on the car? they spend 4 hours today trying to figure out if they could do it without scratching the wheels. oh well, anyone have any advise? is there a different way to align the car? should i just wait to have it aligned untill i buy a set of rear control arms?
thanks in advance.
