Cool story
True story I thought I'd share...
A couple of weekends ago, I was minding my own business, vacuuming the inside of my pure-stock hyper-blue MCC at a "do it yourself" carwash, and a beautiful early 80's Ferrari 328 pulls up in the spot next to me and starts vacuuming out his car. Next thing you know, a brand spankin' Austin Martin DB9 (the one with a V12) pulls up behind us. There are only two vacuum spots, so he has to wait for one of us to finish. He gets out of his car, and the three of us start talking. The Ferrari guy wants to show off his motor, and explains a fancy brush he has that is pre-immersed in wax, that he finds useful for detailing.
Turns out the guy in the DB9 is really interested in, and excited about, my car. "We summer in the Bahamas, and I'd love to get one of these for out there". But he (like many) was worried about the room (he was about 6 foot 4, and has two large dogs). He hops in my car, and is amazed. He turns around and says "and you have real back seats back there, too!"
He offers to reciprocate, so I sit in his fancy DB9. Bamboo trim, push-button start, just gorgeous. Very cool car, but he's right, the back seats are tiny compared to the ones in my mini!
Anyway, I didn't think this could happen considering the price point of my car... Never had people do this kind of thing before... Thought I'd share a giggle.

No, but I waved back, since that's what my license plate says I do.
That is very cool -
A review of the MCSC I read some time ago referred to it as being "classless" - that it was the type of car bought by such a wide demographic, that it is rather difficult to guess where the owner is in life financially.
I get many compliments from those with far more expensive machinery as well.
