I tagged a couple of Mini Coopers in the Reno-Carson City area recently in hopes that we could draw them into the Sierra Nevada Mini Coopers club. On the fourth of July, I placed a card on the windshield of a celery (light green) MINI in the parking lot of Peccole Field just before a Reno Silver Sox baseball game. Last Thursday, I placed a card on a dark blue MINI with British flag stripes on its doors in the parking lot of the Station Grill in Carson City.

Hopefully, these and other "taggees" will consider joining the fun of being a member of our club.

Do not think I have seen that one yet! If you see a Pepper wh/Pepper wh (without my Buzz U2 plates)...that will be me!

Will have to get down to DMV soon!!!!...or risk getting a windshield full of cards from you, Lisa, Keri, and who knows who else!

Tagging works! I tagged a blue mini a few nights ago that was tucked away under a covered garage at the Arlington towers...I can't believe I spotted that one!

Also tagged a Chili Red and talked to it's very nice owner. She lives at the lake, but said she'd love to join us sometime. She has a 67 classic Mini as well!

Anybody having success waving at other MINIs? I get people to wave about half of the time. It kind of upsets me. I actually chased down a MINI I saw on the road the other day and pulled up alongside it to wave...had to honk a few times for the driver to even notice me! What ever happened to people paying attention to their surroundings when they drive?

 

I tagged a blue Mini at the college this evening. Imagine--a Mini driver with an education. Good taste and brains in one package. How cool is that!

 

That Mini driver was probably "JUST VISITING"
