Charlotte July Meet 'n Eat 7/18
Charlotte July Meet 'n Eat 7/18
Thought we'd give the West side of Charlotte a try on Tuesday 7/18 at the Roasting Company at 1521 Montford Drive. It's off Woodlawn and Park.
Their menu is based around marinated rotisserie chicken mixing "southern" and "south of the border" ingredients. It's inexpensive and "finger lickin" good!
Let's meet around 6:30 and stuff our faces around 7:00.
If you approach from the west (from South Blvd), go past Park and turn right at Montford. There is no left turn from Park onto Montford.
Let me know by 16th if you're interested.

i like that place. never been for anything but lunch. the habanero sause is so good but it has a delayed burn that lasts and last. the chicken is great but the collard greens have no salt at all. eat more chicken!
We had a fine time tonight at the Rotisserie Chicken food place. There was a very nice showing of MINI's, and some new faces!
I got a nice ribbing
over the bugs and grime on TARZAN; it hasn't been washed since my roadtrip to Richmond!
It was nice meeting Dave and Juan for the first time, as well as seeing Rob, Rochelle & Jim, Norma & Luke, Chris & Ann, Allen, Steve, George, and Sarah (if that's everyone).
The portion sizes were HUGE!!!

Hey, thanks to everybody for making me feel welcome, and the food was good, too.
You guys have some great looking Mini's, and are giving me the "mod bug"!
Some time it would be neat to hear the different exhaust notes, (I saw at least three non-stock exhausts there).
Also for those unaware, apparently the dealer has a computer remap to fix the cold starts and hesitation, and you can't tow these things unless it's on a flat bed! ;-(
Keep 'em shiny side up!

Hi Flora Blue, no it was to hot to even stand outside so we just went in. Normallly we do stay outside til everyone arrives, even so we had a couple people want to know what kind of cars they were and who made them. Had a nice dinner and was great to rib TARZAN about his bug infestion on the paint. Luke

I had to run "The Gauntlet" to get out of the parking lot!
Update: I washed TARZAN today after work, right before the rain started.

Tarzan's car...I had a hunch this photo would come in handy! ;-) Beware the lurking photobug!
