It took 7 months to the day for me to rack up 10,000 miles on my MINI. Time for her first service.

Question is....

How long did it take everyone to reach their 10K mark?

AND

If you took delivery in November 2005, what miles are on your MINI now?

I hit 10K in 6 weeks. But of course, I was on my first annual springtime road trip back in 2003, and motored through 21 states!

Because so many of the miles were highway, Wanda's service prompter indicated the first service was not due until 13,500 miles. However, she gets oil changes every 5,000-7,500 miles, anyway. Can't hurt to be proactive in the oil department.

 

I got my EB/UJ MCSa in May of '05. Its July of '06 and Im still at 7k!

 

I picked mine up in June '05 and I'm at 19,400 now.

 

WOW!! I think I'll be close to that when I'm at a year. What's the highest mileage anyone has had with a MINI before trading it in or retiring it?

 

Picked up in Aug of 05.
Had 10,100 in 2 1/2 weeks.
Just got back from Oregon I now have 26,500 on My MINI, and still not a year old.

Should take us about 18 months to hit 10k. Dealer here says take it in after a year no matter what the oil indicator says.

 

Picked mine up on Dec 28th of 02, first service was around 13,000 miles around the time of the first AMVIV (Feb 03), so 10k must of been around two months or so. Currently just below 112,000, should pass that by the end of the week.

I took delivery on January 7th 2006.

I turned 11,000 on my way in to work this morning @ 9:50 am EDT

 

I picked up El Kabong November 16th, 2005 and am currently at 6400 miles. My commute to work is only about 4 miles though, .

Picked up Simon in November '05 and have 5,000 miles so far.

 

Picked up my JB MCSa on August 8, 2005 . Currently have about 13,500 on it. Planning on adding another 1,100 come this Saturday .
