Japanese Tow Hook- Anyone seen these in the States?

Has anyone seen a tow hook like this available in the US? This is from Racers.jp in Japan, and I keep hearing that they don't do business in the States. I like the way this one pivots:

Realdirection Tow Hook

TC Design sells some nice lightweight aluminum ones for the MINI and just about every BMW you could think of. They come powder coated in red or black.

I like this one - it looks like a hand granade pin!

I just received a tow hook bought off Ebay from autoteknicusa, just like the one in post 5 above, but red. It appears solidly built, quality construction, and the hook is a really tasty satin anodized red, not powdercoat.

However, the box it came in says "For decoration purposes only, not for towing"! Good thing I got it mainly so I can tell people it's my mini's wind-up key...

Tether, did you pay $75 for yours? For that ammount, I'd expect them to actually WORK...

Exactly why you don't buy things off e-bay Definitely a good thing that you only want that thing for decoration cuz it would probably snap under the weight of your car. Even more reason to buy the TCDesign one

$160. For a bolt. With a ring on it. Are you smoking crack???

Well buy the $75 one, get your car towed, pay the repair bill from the car falling off the hoist because your hook breaks, and then compare the $160 to your total cost.

Game over, I win. If you want something for cosmetics only, go buy the e-bay hunk of junk. If you want something that looks good, wont chip, AND can actually TOW YOUR CAR, get the TCDesign one.

How about they use THEIR hook and have the tow company cover everything if it falls? Or just drive like a regular person and not be towed at all? Your "victory" is a bit moot when I drive on past, $160 richer, watching you get hoisted by your very pricey bolt. I'll be sure to wave (I do at all Mini drivers)...

Or, how about Outmotoring's $25 solution? It's not as flashy as the ring, I agree, but I mean, come on... $160 bucks? I'm happy you have enough cash to light cigars with twenty dollar bills, I guess, but some of us live in the real world.

In the real world where Tow Hooks are a cool commodity? You're acting like Im a fool for buying something functional when you spent $75 because a tow hook looks cool?
