IMHO they should have removed the MINI Wings badge and then did the stripes and then re-installed the MINI Wings badge over the stripes

I have seen a number of boot stripes at D&R that were done the same way. But then the factory stripes don't even go all the way to the grille and over the rear edge of the bonnet.

Still a good change from the U-Stripe

They should be at your local dealer by the time you read this... or they should have the part numbers for you to order.

Thanks, are the stripes black, or are they grey, it's hard to tell in the pics.

And were'd you get those headlight rings (I'm assuming they're Carbon Fiber, but maybe they're black )

Awesome!!! The first quality pics I've seen of these yet (the pics MINI released don't do them justice). I'm foregoing the classic bonnet stripes and getting these sport stripes (except in white) on my HB/W MCS.

They are Carbon Fiber and I got them from a NAM member Pfunk (he's moved to Japan an said he would let us know when he gets settled in)
There is another company Umnitza that carries them, but the quality of the ones I have are much better (Fit and Finish)

Click on my sig and I have much better pictures of them on my website.

One more question, do you pop off the chrome rings, or do those fit over top?

Not to rain on your parade, but I don't think the stripes are wide enough!

Maybe it's just the angle of the first pic, but are the stripes as wide as the opening inside the scoop? I would have gone even wider, maybe as wide as the scoop itself.

Very nice red/black scheme and carbon bits, though!

The stripes are awfully neat... but I liked your driving lights down lower like you had them before. I think they give the car a "lower", heavier visual feel personally.... Was it a real chore to get the stock stripes off?
