Rain tips for Solo?????
Looks like rain tomorrow for Solo, not buckets, but probably enough to make it wet all day. Any tips? We are running Falken Azenis RT-615 on 16" rims - I assume that will be better than the OEM 15" with contis.
Just like autocrossing in the dry, but a little wetter.
In all seriousness, unless it's raining hard enough to create puddles on course, you'll have almost all the grip that you do in the dry. Just focus on driving smoothly and not charging into the corners too hard trying to go faster. Of course that's true on dry courses also.
You might end up dropping your tire pressures a bit, but that's less likely on street tires.
Have fun.

Ya, most people (even some experienced autocrossers) tend to overcompensate for wet conditions. Unless there is like standing water, I drive 99% the same as I do on a dry course. Which means on wet days I tend to index better than normal, or have a spectacular string of dirty runs
