Taking out rear seats

I need help ASAP in taking out the rear seats as I need to get to the bolt that holds part of the Schroth Harness. Its the factory location for the rear seat seatbelt. I need take out the rear seats in order to take it off and I really want to ship the harness out today. So... can anyone help me and let me know how to take the rear seats off. Only the bottom part (that you sit on) unless I HAVE to take out the backrest as well. Thanks.

just pull up on the front edge (closest to engine)...should unsnap and fold back towards the boot.

rear seat

Put your hands between the bottom of the seat and the carpet and just pull up. Only spring clips are holding it down. Should take only 10 seconds.

All the posts are right for the lower parts. *If* you have to remove the backs, look for the 10mm bolt between the backs at the bottom, accessed from the boot. Undo and remove, then twist the bracket up and away from you, thus releasing the seat back pivots. They come out by pulling toward the center of the car.

cheers,

Yah, Gandini is right....that's how you remove the backs JUST in case you need to. While pulling towards the center, they need to be tilted like 20-30% forward to allow the outside connection to come out of the hole (its sorta T-shaped, and the hole is only big enough at one angle)

With that being said, I'm pretty sure you dont need to remove the seat backs.

I just did that a couple hours ago and you will need to pull the child seat plugs out by opening them towards the top and then pulling at the open plug and wiggeling them side to side as you are pulling these 4 plastic baby seat plug covers towards the steering wheel until they pop out. (Line them up though where they came from so you can put them back in the right place afterwords.)
Then you pull up the front part of the seat bottom about eight inches (it will unsnap) and then pull towards the front as you are holding the backside of that seat cushion down.

No need to remove the back for the Schroth Quickfit harness, only the seat bottom.

Hope this helps.
