JCW Brakes on Cooper?

I have a Cooper with the 16" 5 spokes and I was just wondering if the JCW Brakes would fit. I know it says MCS only but what's the difference?.. It says it'll fit in those wheels.

IF they fit the wheel, they'll fit the car.
The stock brakes are NO different from MC to MCS, so the mounting points and all related items are the same. The only issues may come from the suspension, if you don't have the SS+.

Where did you read the 16" 5-stars fit over JCW brakes?

As far as I know, there are only two MINI wheels which properly clear them... and that would be the R94 Bridge Spokes and the R87 Double Spokes...?

Any 17" wheel the MINI can normally wear should fit.. I'd be interested to see pics of any 16" wheels fitting over the JCW brakes...

The 16" R84 X-Lites just fit with the JCW brakes (I had these on my car at delivery) but you need to move the balancing weights to the outside rear edge of the wheel. However, these OEM wheels are not officially sanctioned by MINI for use with the JCW brakes because of the very tight fit and minimal clearance and concerns about over-heating during hard use. Since this will be my winter set-up I'm not overly concerned about this.

Thanks.. I actually just sold the X-lites off my old car.. Do you have any pics you could post showing the X-lites mounted over the brakes, and position of the wheel weights?
