I've notices that one of the side markers is loose on my Chile. Anyone with same problem. Fix?
Today while giving "Fredrick" a bath,(Her, EB UJ on top) the red "S" popped right out of the left side marker. It took a few minutes of monkeying around to get it to pop back in. Quick fix? Superglue? Anyone with same happenings? Just don't want to lose one on the road.

His, Chile Red all over / Hers, EB UJ on top.

Ok, everyone go out and check your side markers. Are they loose? Is this an isolated finding...Am I the only lucky one?

I assume you refer to the chrome side markers. They are held in place by a black plastic grommet. Sometimes the grommet is not positioned correctly in it's holder.
This happened to me when replacing the side markers.

To reach the grommet open the hood, reach inside the fender and push out on the grommet as you push in on the chrome side marker. You should feel or hear it pop into place. The grommet is only on the front of the chrome side marker. If this doesn't help then you might want to get a new pair of grommets from the dealer. You don't want to use glue.

Good luck

It's kind of a poor engineering job. It pushes in at the front but clips in at the back. I had one fly out at well lets say excess interstate speeds

Anyway it never did fit right. I had the dealer replace it under warranty.

Just my opinion but if MINI is listening ( I know they read this ) a better design would be to clip in at the front and push in at the back. That way the wind would not be constantly prying out the front
