Please put me down for a definite maybe. We like to go to C/R park, and I'm looking to put some miles on the Mini, however, we're making a trip to IA somewhere mid-Oct, (in another new car), so I'll either miss this or Eurofest. I'll know/get details in early September...keep posting these events, please!

I'd love to be there, but my middle daughter is getting married that Saturday. I did try to convince her to have the wedding at Chimney Rock Park, but that would mess up her plans for the reception.

Another daughter is getting married next year. When she mentioned possible dates, I told her any weekend was fine except for the first weekend in May. I've already got plans that weekend!

Guys, I'm getting my Helix CAI put on at Dan's pulley party and seeing as these two events are in diametrically opposite directions from Charlotte, I'll have to miss this one and just head to GrassRoots...keep it rubber side down on those great twisties around Lake Lure and Chimney Rock!

P.S. to Luke, Mr. "I don't ALWAYS take 1st place", we'll see! ;-)

Well were back from Autumn in the Mountains a British Car gathering. The weather was wonderful and m2c2 was well represented, Charlotte VP Chris Diel and wife, Asheville VP Chris Bader, Eric Sipe & Wife from Hickory, a couple new members that just joined from Hendersonville NC and myself and Norma. Had some good food, drove alot of mountain roads and got a little culture visted the Carl Sandburg Historical Home. The leaves could have been more colorful but we'll take the beautiful weather instead. Thanks to British Car Club and Century Mini for putting this together!!!!!! Luke President Mini Motoring Club of Carolinas.
