Greetings!

I'm moving to Colorado at the end of this month and am considering buying a Mini S.

Can I get some opinions on owning a Mini in Colorado? How it drives in the snow, mountain driving, etc?

Thanks!

What snow we're in a drought.
As far as mountains. It's a blast. MINI5280 has gone a few cruises and they have been great.
welcome to the colo but get used to a lot of traffic most places

Well, now that Denver's & the So. Platte River drainage is 104%, just motor. Left the S in the garage Tues thru Fri. Drove to work Fri, no problem. Drove in 6" of snow the weekend of 3/1, and the S did better than our GMC Envoy 4X4 or my full size Chevy P.U. 4X4. BTW, I noticed that a few posts list driving in the snow/rain with the DSC on.... Owner's manual says NOT to use DSC in slippery or slick conditions.

It was a lovely blizzard, but my mini did fine in the garage. I like most of us here had to dig out a few cars and drivers who thought their cars could go like a truck. Still in a reasonable snow storm the mini goes just fine.
