I agree, it's a retro look. Not for me, but I can see the attraction for others.

Harkens back to the British roadsters of yesteryear. Might work on a cabrio, but the original Minis were best remembered as rolling along on Mini-lite wheels (aesthetically similar to S-Lites).

It needs curb-feelers to complete the look

I like it. My old MG Midget had wire spoke wheels like that. Very old school. Now, if they were gold, that would be a different story.

I considered getting 19's sort of like that. I dont go for the traditional look that many others strive for and was looking for some bling. On an otherwise stock car they are still a bit boring to me though, but to each their own and props for being different.

And I like the gold idea goaljnky!

Man those just look wrong to me. Yuck!!! I had wires on my 69 Midget. Yes they looked good on that car, but it drove like it had oval wheels. Nice to look at poor to live with. I'll take the Panasports please.

Oldschool and lexlow you really made me laugh. I would seriously sport that gold mesh grill on my MINI, it is awesome.

Blackout the front grille and it looks like the new GTI!
