Chrome plating factory web spokes?

Has anyone chrome plated their factory web spokes or other factory wheels?

I have the webspokes and thought they might look hot chromed.

If you have, could you post a picture and let me know what it cost to have them done?

Thanks!

There are various sources for custom chrome wheel plating.
Here is one in Fullerton California that does triple chrome plating.

I've seen prices quoted about $200 per rim. Ship the bare rims via UPS or Fed ex ground.

Usually for the webspokes and other 17" rims the chrome plating adds about 2 pounds more weight per rim. You still need to keep them clean of brake dust to prevent deterioration of the finish which I've seen peel and blister within about a year.

Chrome webspokes would look nice on a MINI.
