need help
ok people I need some help as I am a total geek when it comes to suspenion. what I am trying to do is lower my car appprox one inch and still keep my car feeling and handling the same as it does now. I have an h-sport rear swaybar and i just installed some enki j-10's 17x7 on falken 512's 17x7x45. I was thinking ,maybe I could use jcw spring with fsd shocks and shorter bump stops. I'm not sure if that would make my car handle as good as it does now and not be to harsh. I can't stand it when I ride in someones car that has it lowered and every time they hit a bump it sounds like something might fall off
. I hope someone can help me out with this

Anyway, I used the Eibach Pro-Kit, which lowered my MCS 1.2" in the rear and 1" in the front with Koni Sport struts and 18" Pirelli Nero tires. Ride is great and doesn't feel like anything is going to fall off when I go over bumps.
Since nobody wants to jump in, let me try to help you,
we where away during the week end, just got back to the shop today,
Regarding your suspension question, yes you coud use Koni FSD with JCW springs,
On my own car, I run a set of Koni yellows and koni springs, there is no rub at ALL, even with 4 people in the car,
Including when we drove around the PHOENIX raceway track with 4 of us on board.
Hope this helps

I think the H-Sports are a bit less than 1"
but I Don't remember for sure. I sold mine and moved on to coil-overs!
And there are several makers of progressive springs that are softer than stock, and firm up more than stock as you turn.
As for responses, you probably just got lucky with people being away. I was gone this weekend as well.

Ripper, plenty of members are not as active on-site on weekends. When you post and don't get an immediate response, also be sure to use the Search function to research your issue. You can always post "Bump" in the thread to bring up the topic again, as well.
let me apologize for jumping the gun. I just happened to see about six pots after mine and they all had 5 -10 responses and I did'nt have. I thought there would be more people online on the weekend since they were off, my bad
Anyway I guess what I'm looking for is a setup that lowers my car no more then an inch but doesn't causevery noticable jarring. Thanks for the reply's so far please keep them coming
