MINI Sightings: On TV
MINI Sightings: On TV
It's been a busy weeks for MINI's on TV.
Friday, 3/31 - Ghost Whisperer - A PS/B - not sure if it was an S or not
Wed, 4/5 - Amazing Race - In Italy, an IB?/B MC
Thurs, 4/6 - BlackJack Pizza commercial - CR/? - not sure if it was an S or not
Unfortunately I was watching live TV for all of these, so unable to rewind for a better look. I swear there was a 4th sighting but I can't recall it right now!

I believe I caught a glimpse of a MINI passing the storefront on the show 'Miami Ink' the other night.
One of the characters on the CBS show, "How I Met Your Mother", has a 1/18 scale PS/B Cooper model on a shelf opposite his desk in his office...very, very prominent for several minutes in the background in an episode a few weeks ago.

Hard Candy
A teenage girl agrees to meet a thirtysomething male fashion photographer in person after becoming acquainted in an online chat room, and the resulting encounter finds the line between predator and prey slipping slowly out of focus in director David Slade's provocative and topical thriller. Hayley (Ellen Page) is a 14-year-old teen whose emotional maturity seems to betray her tender age. Jeff (Patrick Wilson) is a potential child predator whose intentions toward his young chat buddy seem less than honorable. After meeting in a coffeehouse and getting to know each other briefly in person, Jeff invites Haley back to his place, and it's not long before Jeff's underage guest is pouring drinks and posing provocatively for an impromptu photo shoot. As the evening's questionable activities take a decidedly sordid slant and the raptorial Jeff appears poised to strike, a sudden turn of events finds that his apparent victim has had a plan of her own from the very beginning. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

I'm watching it now. The one from Pleasant Hill, CA drives the MCC, I thought the ones in San Francisco would have the MINI cuz there are so many in the city, but it's the "suburb" family with the MINI. They both seem pretty normal, not overly outrageous either way, but they're both very different from each other.
The suburb family with the MINI are the Plonskers and seem pretty reserved. Anybody know them?
