13.6 BRAKES
A. The make and material of brake linings may be changed.
B. Substitution of clutch and brake hydraulic lines with solid metal
or braided metal is allowed on all cars manufactured before
model year 1992.
C. Alternate brake bleeder fittings such as “Speedbleeders” are
permitted. They may serve no other purpose.

Also, what's the best brake pad for autocross? I've heard the stock pads might be the best out there. What about the Mintex?

I really like the Ferodo 2500 pads, but they dust like crazy.

For autocross you don't change the pads because they fade, you change them for more/less braking force, better modulation, etc.....
