After three deposits at three different dealerships starting back in August of '02, after having my current dealership get their alottment cut, after finding and buying my intermediate dream home without selling my first home in less than a month (amazing you can find and buy a several hundred thousand dollar house in a month but can't get a MINI - the way you want - in under 6 months without travling the country, and my MINI is STILL coming from out of state), after suggesting and having the local MINI club named after my screen name (not really after ME, but the name of the club is PDX MINI Copper Club of Portland run by Ryan who I look forward to someday meeting but have been too jealous (and embarrassed) to go to any of the rallies in my SUV)....

I think congratulations are in order!
Sounds like things are actually going pretty well for you even considering the drawn-out MINI process.

I just got the production number and they say delivery end of May. I have to fly to Utah but it will be halfway through break-in by the time I get it home.
I settled on Jet Black/White with black leather interior and will eventually be putting on the hood stripes that run directly in the middle of the bonnet.

Congrats PDX,
As you can see from my signiture, our MINI's are very close indeed,
in colour and delivery date as well.
I live just round the corner from MINI of Murray here in Utah so we'll have to do some motoring when we get babies.
