Hello Hawaii MINI owners!

Mrs. Hartz and I just returned from a lovely vacation to Kauai and the big island. Saw lots of MINIs, but in particular, noticed a very well presented, newer, all CR MCS in the parking lot of the Mariott in Lihue this past Sunday. Just wanted to say hi if it was someone here, and let them know it was a very nice car.

As nice as Hawaii was, I'm also happy to be back in MI and enjoying my BRG/W MCS!

how did our winter weather compare to you guys up in...MI=michigan?

about as mean a winter as we've had for a number of years, at least for the latter 1/2 of the season for the northern islands.

and i understand the feeling to get back to your brg/w mcs...

 

You're kidding, right? The day I left Michigan it was a sleeting rain/snow mix with a low temp at night in the teens. I'd say the weather in Hawaii was just fine by comparison!

Seriously, though, we heard a lot of folks complaining about rain, and we heard some stories about flooding on other islands, but we seemed to luck out. Had a great time, with wonderful weather. I think the only really wet weather we had was in Hilo/Volcano - no surprise there.
