San Diego NT

Congrats to Craig Wilcox on the San Diego win - not missing a step from last year's string of NT wins.

And a word to Matt Jensen the cone killer (ten in one day!): go around them

Ouch. His MINI does have the nicest looking number graphics though. And I'm not biased.

Yeah Saturday sucked. On my 3rd run I told myself over and over before hitting the starting line; don't hit any cones, don't hit any cones. So what do I do, hit the very first cone I could hit. After that I didn't care, hense the 6 cones that run. Just to clarify, I wasn't the only one hitting cones, Jake and his co-driver hit plenty Sunday and A-stock was even worse than me. Really though, I just wanted to get my quota for the year out of the way. I should be looking good to go until after Nationals .

On a side note, the course seemed very narrow to me which might explain all the cones. Not sure if that's normal or not, just something new to me. I prefer the wide open flat courses myself. Fontana should be fun though, as long as I can learn how to launch the car.

This is really cool, I caught the above on camera.

Here is you thinking..............

Here is the cone you hit.................

And up the hill you went, and yes, it was definitely narrow..................
