my legacy will walk a stock STi
we will definetly get a wagon, i really like the looks of the new generation STWs, they are not as ugly as they were in the past, and keep in mind the legendary S2s, RS4s and RS6s

I dig the look of the legacy, one of the few good looking cars in the market right now. Unfortunately, I think they positioned it incorrectly. They need to position it against accord and camrys.
[EDIT] By the way, your link is broken or my firefox is broken.

^^nah...I'm waiting until I get out of this rental (house) and then I'm going with some coilovers. I have a cusco RSB which helped tremendously and an STi front strut bar...and the 18s helped too I suppose...but stock, the car drives like a malibu...
My wife's car is a 99 Outback SUS. Great car, 66k miles, still the original tires. I've done nothing to it but brakes and oil changes, and the timing belt at 60k.
LivN...the only complaint she has with it is that the normally aspirated 2.5 is a little underpowered. How big a deal is it to add some horses?

^^ the 175hp 2.5L NA on our legacy feels under powered when you get
on it, but for the commute you don't need that much power... plus, it
runs on regular gas and better milage than turbo 2.5L's...so, i think
(and a lot of people have agreed with me) the NA is still a better choice
if it's for your daily commute.
now if it was your sole car to do the commuting and weekend fun, then
i'd get the turbo for sure.

yep...probably not too much in the US market for the 99 OB as far as "power mods" (without turbo conversion or motor swap)...unforunately. you can probably order some eng/exhst mods online from Japan though...if you want to spend or have the money that is...
Not looking to spend a huge amount. It's her daily driver, and we'd like to keep it as bulletproof as it's been up till now.
After I got a 15% pulley on my MCS, she wanted to know if there was anything similar (or at least similar dollars and similar outcome) we could do to give SUSie a little more go.
I figured a turbo was my main option and half-heartedly looked at them. I think somewhere around $2500-3000 was what I was seeing. Does that sound about right?
