From a quick search on the forums here, it doesn't look like anybody has figured out how to enable this, but surely, the engineers have some kind of test 30 button toggle to get this working. 1-001? Please tell me that's not really how it's going to be.

Any luck? Or contrary, can anybody think of a google phrase more useful than mini cooper stock stereo, so I can track this down on my own. It's hard to believe that it's not hiding in there somewhere waiting for me.

picked up my 06 PS/B plain jane optionless cooper yesterday, and sure that ID3 only apppppears to have been neglected.

Alas, no answers yet. I swear it's too easy to add ID3 parsing for them to have left it out. OTOH, it's pretty clear it hasn't leaked yet if it exists. Thanks for the pointer, that's a thread I missed.
