A cool MINI mod idea... (Italian Job)

This just kinda came to me. For those of you who like "The Italian Job", you could put a metal box in the boot and fill it with fake gold bricks! Then show your friends and act all mysterious.

Maybe Charlize Theron will give you a visit?

If Charlize Theron would visit me, then yes I would do that in a heartbeat! But...then I would need some crazy suspension, so it probably wouldn't be worth it (too much money) but that would be sweet!

Trust me, Charlize probably would not show up....remember, she was acting!!! She likes driving MINIs, though, at least that's what she said after dinner tonight. (...the girl can eat!!!)

I think you could get away with some light material for the bricks like foam. And you could make the bottom of the box higher so you could use less "gold"

But it does sound like a cool idea.

Yup, that's what I meant. Like fake gold that's real looking. Use foam or something. Unless you're rich, then you can try the real deal! I wouldn't advise that though, because then the car becomes a LOT more valuable to steal.

I think I've seen some metal boot boxes that look kind of similar, don't know about fake bricks though

Tried to find some pix i had .. well thought i had... Set up was 20 Candy bars. 1/2 hammer drill.. some old Firecracker (over 15 years old) to look like blasting caps. a few candles wrapped and with Dynamite / TNT printed on them. a laser measuring tape and a paint roller. Also had a DVD playing Assorted scenes. beging with safe in Italy, the driving practice, where Left ear was setting the charges for the truck, the truck and whole case scene. This would play over and over. Did this for about 4 shows then when to another set up.. would have helpped if my mini wasnt Dark silver. but it was good while it lasted
