my mini arrived at the southampton terminal on july 7 , then the next post was removed july 17,, others said loaded on vesel,, so what does all of this mean, it was scheduled for the takasago which should be in new york sunday,, but now i am not so sure,, the miniusa site says awaiting transport,, HELP !!!!!!!!1

 

did you check the tracking website?

 

MINIUSA OL just changed the status on my MCS to en route, even though it has been at sea since last Sunday.
It's really nerve racking clicking between the shipping site and miniusa. I even e-mailed the shipper on Tuesday to make sure the car was loaded and the ship left port. The time is near!

 

Check this out.....miniusa never told me that my car was assigned to a ship....I didn't even know that it was going on the Takasago.....I just happened to check today and it had changed from Awaiting Transport to En Route...complete surprise. The problem is that the shipping company and mini are not completely in sync right now....the shipping company is apparently entering all of their cargo manually so the info isn't getting back to mini right away. The girl at Mini told me that my car could be on a boat (this was earlier this week) and they might not even know yet....this turned out to be the case....my car went out on the 13th and are due into the States this weekend. I suggest going to http://www.wlna.com and tracking your car on there. When you get to the website click on Global tracking in the upper right hand corner, then click on cargo tracking and then on auto....then enter the last 7 digits of your Vin#. You will be able to see if it has been entered yet as cargo. I hope this helps......everyone else on here has been so helpful to me! :smile:

 

Well there looks to be a few silver/blk MINIS on this ship. I know of two others now.

i did the wlna web site and it takes me back to the 2wglobal site, it is the same thing , my booking # was GBSOU88296 there are over 300 cars listed under this number and about half of them were listed as loaded on vessel and the other half were listed as removed,, just my luck mine was in the removed list, so i don't know if that means that i will catch the next ship or what,, , thanks for the info,,

Maybe a full boat. It did start in Germany and a stop in Belgium before Southhampton. Check everything again on Monday, see if anything changes.

 

zippy....did you call mini and ask them what is going on?

 

i emailed them but no reply,, i just checked again and all or the ones listed as removed had no bill of lading,, so i checked under a bill of lading of another car and pulled up the list of 500 cars that were listed as loaded on vessel and sure enough i have missed the BOAT,,,, RATS !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yeah I emailed them last week and never got a reply.....call 1.866.ASK.MINI and they have reps that can usually answer any questions you might have and are always really nice.

 

I believe there is another boat on the 23rd and after that on the 27th (or something to that effect) so if you did in fact miss this one there will be another along shortly!

 

There was a post back in June for West coast arrivals. Had quite a few schs. listed. Don't know about shipping schs. for Eastern part of country. ops:

 

thanks i just called ask mini and they are off for the weekend so it looks like another long weekend wondering where my mini is,, there was another boat that left on the 15th but it was going to canada first then new york,, i guess it was too good to be true when they moved my build date from the 12th up to the 8th and then when the car arrived at the port on the 11th,, and then it was booked to leave on the 13th i could just see me driving around by the first week of august ,, cheers

 

I think whatever you see for west coast...my side of the country is something like 2 weeks earlier...

 

If it makes you feel any better, my production date was june 10 and I only just got a boat.

 

you must be nuts by now,, my dealer told me to expect it about 25 days after build,, there dosen't seem to be any rime or reason to all of this,, if i ever by another on i think i will just go to the dealer and take a pick from what he has, but of course i would keep my old one until i got the new one,, but now i have nothing !!!

 

As I have been laughing about all over this site...the dealership ordered me more than one car....one was produced a month after the other but they are both on the boat now and on their way over.....this whole thing has been kinda messed up and yes I am practically ripping out my hair...

 

Possibly when the car is booked for departure is the key. If your build date was moved up maybe the departure date wasn't. My cars build date July 5, but it was booked on the ship on June 10.

yep mine was also booked on 6/10 , where is you mini now

 

MINIclo is shown as having been BOOKED on 6/10, PRODUCTION completed 7/15, RECEIVED at Southampton 7/17, and SUPPOSEDLY scheduled for OTELLO, and to ARRIVE at Port Hueneme 8/12. I'm not sure it made it onboard. Will have to call "ASK MINI" on Monday.
